Privacy. Comfort. Freedom.
Compared to a float tank, which is similar to a large, enclosed bathtub, a float cabin resembles a small sauna in which you can freely stand. We believe this prevents fears and feelings of claustrophobia and creates a more optimal environment for relaxation.
That’s not the only decision we’ve made to ensure your comfort. Here are some other features of our float cabins:
- Private, fully-stocked suites. Each cabin is located within a private suite that includes a shower, toilet, wash basin, and changing area. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towel, make-up remover, ear plugs, liquid band-aid, Q-tips, and white vinegar (for irrigating ears) are provided.
- Spacious, intentional design. Our pools are approximately 50” wide and 96” long and light and sound proof to eliminate outside distractions. You can choose to float in total darkness or activate an LED star field for the sensation of floating in space. You may also float in total silence, activate one of the provided sound programs, or listen to soothing music of your own.
- Consistent therapeutic environment. Per float guidelines, each pool is 11 inches deep with approximately 900 pounds of Epsom salt saturated in 150 gallons of water. The water is heated to sensory neutral temperature at 93.5 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Strict sanitation guidelines. Our cabins and facility have been inspected and approved by the Washington State Department of Health. The water is filtered at least four times between sessions and treated with a UV light system. Epsom salt itself also has sanitizing properties.
Our goal is to be the most trusted and professional float center in the Northwest. If you’ve been in to see us, please let us know how we’re doing!
